Setting the scene for the upcoming free content update, Activision released its Call of Duty: Warzone "Season Four âMercenaries of Fortuneâ Cinematic" trailer on Wednesday.
The brief trailer features a high-intensity action scene playing out in what appears to be Caldera, with a variety of fan-favorite Operators making an appearance. Fitting for the theme of "Mercenaries of Fortune," the trailer showcases rivals competing for riches. Here's a breakdown of the Season 4 Story Cinematic Trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone.
Warzone Season Four "Mercenaries of Fortune" Cinematic Trailer Released
The cinematic begins with a flaming helicopter containing gold bars spiraling to an unfortunate end in the middle of the tropical island.
Within no time, we see various mercenaries dashing to the site of the crash hoping to claim the loot for themselves.
Soon enough, we see two opposing leaders facing off, both understanding there's only one way for this to play out.
After a bit of flexing from both sides, showing off their numbers as well as some nice cosmetics for players to pick up in-game, a firefight breaks out.
With the action going full steam, the trailer ends, revealing another promo image for the new season, which is set to begin on June 22.
