In a recent Youtube video, popular Warzone streamer FaZe Swagg revealed that there may be a new pistol in Warzone that can surpass not only every pistol in the game, but most SMGs in the game as well.
With the integration of every weapon from three separate Call of Duty titles in Warzone, players have plenty of options to choose from. Even with the giant selection of weapons being available, every time there is a new season or update, developer Raven Software constantly tweaks gun stats to make weapons more balanced. With constant changes to the game, the question of what guns are best is a highly debated topic by players, pros and content creators.
With Season 4 on the horizon, FaZe Swagg has spent his time playing around with different loadouts and playstyles to see if there are any guns worth using that are outside the meta.
This led to FaZe Swagg discovering that the Desert Eagle, also known as the "Deagle," may actually be the best pistol in the game. In the Youtube video he posted, FaZe Swagg was able to rack up 26 kills, over half of which came from using the pistol.
The Desert Eagle is a semi-automatic weapon, meaning that it has slower firing rates than other pistols and SMGs, but the Deagle stands at the top of secondary weapons with the amount of damage it does, its mobility, and the range the gun has. With high versatility, the Desert Eagle can be used effectively in short to mid-range combat, but can also deal high damage from far away if the player can hit their shots.
With Season 4 arriving in just four days, it'll be interesting to see how Raven Software deals with the Desert Eagle, and if players will start to use it in their loadouts.
