Popular Warzone streamer TimTheTatman revealed in a recent video that the M1 Garand has the potential to be the next DMR. As many Warzone fans remember, the DMR was insanely broken as it had pinpoint accuracy and a high TTK.
The claim comes after Season 5 released, which saw the M1 Garand get significantly buffed. The Vanguard rifle received an increase in muzzle velocity by over 13%, and many of the weapon attachments saw buffs as well. The popular streamer heavily endorsed the weapon, saying that "It doesn’t feel as strong as the DMR did when it was broken but after the nerf when it was still viable – that’s what it reminds me of.”
He also lists that his loadout is the most accurate one possible, and maximizes the damage range. When dropping into Caldera or even Fortune's Keep, the M1 Garand is a weapon that every player should try out. We recommend pairing it with a more mobile, close-range weapon such as the PPSH-41.
