Krafton, Inc. announced on July 14 that Paris Saint-Germain winger and Brazilian national team star Neymar Jr is a new ambassador for PUBG: Battlegrounds.
Neymar Jr. will host a range of in-game and off-game activities throughout the year as part of being the ambassador. To kick off the partnership, Neymar Jr. and a group of his friends held a Facebook live stream event where they explored the new map Deston. Neymar Jr's team consisted of streamers Gaules, Netenho and professional PUBG player Sparkingg.

The livestream event garnered nearly 88 million viewers as it was streamed on July 14. The livestream had a duration of two and a half hours. If you do not want to miss the next Neymar livestream, make sure to follow his Facebook page where he often livestreams.
Neymar Jr. has been playing PUBG since 2017 and this partnership only makes their relationship stronger. Neymar Jr. commented "Participating in PUBG is amazing. I’m very proud to be a part of this new project and I can’t wait to play on the new map. I hope you all like it" Neymar Jr. regularly streams on his Facebook gaming channel and also supports Brazilian CS:GO shooter teams.

The YouTube video on PUBG: Battlegrounds channel announces that there will be a special event announcement on July 21.
PUBG: Battlegrounds also announced that K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will be holding an online concert later in the month of July.
