Cosmog is a Psychic-type Pokémon from the Alola region featured in generation seven of the main-line Pokémon series. The Pokémon made its debut in Pokémon GO in Sept. with the introduction of the Season of Light. Many players familiar with the Pokémon will be eager to evolve it. How to Evolve Cosmog in Pokémon GO
Players have been able to capture Cosmog since it arrived last Sept. with the introduction of the Season of Light. By starting the Cosmic Companion Special Research task players will begin the process of obtaining a Cosmog.
Completing the first series of tasks will reward players with the opportunity to encounter Cosmog.
- Catch 15 Psychic-type Pokémon
- Catch 15 Pokémon
- Make 10 curveball throws
In order to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem 25 candies will be needed. Those that complete the first three steps in the Cosmic Companion Special Research will be given the simple task of catching a single Pokémon.
As a reward for making progress on the Cosmic Companion Special Research this easy task will provide players with 25 Cosmog candies 3000 XP and 1000 Stardust. As mentioned the 25 candies are needed to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem.
Pokémon fans who are familiar with Cosmog's history will know that it is actually a legendary Pokémon. A Cosmog can evolve into Solgaleo or Lunala however neither of those two Pokémon are included in Pokémon GO as of now.
When further tasks and steps are added to the Cosmic Companion Special Research it is expected that players will have the choice of either Solgaleo or Lunala when they evolve Cosmoem for 100 candies.
