A new playlist update has once again removed Massive Resurgence from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

The new mode brings the fast-paced gameplay of Resurgence to Al Mazrah. The large maps gives players plenty of space to navigate the chaos of constant respawns in a 150 player lobby.

The mode had already been removed a couple weeks ago to fix a glitch that caused the gas to completely cover safe zones. The developers resolved the issue and brought Massive Resurgence back to the game. Now, it has once again disappeared, and this time, there is no explanation.

Massive Resurgence is currently not available to play in Warzone 2. It seems the mode has been replaced with Plunder. Players can still spawn into Resurgence on Ashika Island.

Professional Warzone Player, Aydan "Aydan" Conrad, tweeted, "Massive Resurgence was the most fun I've had playing casual Warzone on Warzone 2." He then urged Raven Software to make Massive Resurgence "a permanent mode!"

The change could be temporary to promote the return of Plunder from the original Warzone, but until next week's playlist drops, we will not know if the removal of Massive Resurgence is a more permanent decision.
