Forspoken, the upcoming RPG from Square Enix and Luminous Productions, is set to release next year on Jan. 24, 2023. A brand new trailer for the game was released during The Game Awards 2022, alongside the first playable demo.
The new trailer gave players a deeper look at the Break, a powerful force that corrupts everything it touches, including the inhabitants of Athia. The new demo gave players their first shot at the combat and parkour mechanics ahead of Forspoken's launch.
The game was first announced during Sony's PlayStation 5 Showcase event, but eager fans are likely wondering if the game is heading to Game Pass.
Is Forspoken be on Game Pass?
Forspoken is currently in development for PlayStation 5 and PC. At the time of writing, neither Square Enix or Luminous Productions have announced a release for Xbox consoles, including PC Game Pass. However, players can purchase the game via the PC Game Pass application.
The game is listed as a PlayStation console exclusive, though its exclusivity period ends two years after Forspoken's release. While this doesn't guarantee that the game will receive a home on other platforms, the possibility for an Xbox release will be there in 2025.
In the meantime, PlayStation and PC players can pre-order the game ahead of its January release.
