Why is xQc disappointed with Pokimane and HasanAbi? Fans say 'he needs to stop calling those frauds his friends'

QUEBEC, CANADA: Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has found himself in the midst of a controversy sparked by fellow streamers Imane "Pokimane" and Hasan "HasanAbi" regarding his move to Kick. xQc secured an astounding $100 million contract with the Stake- and Trainwreckstv-backed platform, eliciting varied reactions from streamers. One notable response came from Pokimane, who sarcastically remarked that Kick pays Twitch. Hasan, on the other hand, suggested that xQc's decision to switch platforms was purely motivated by money and speculated about potential involvement in gambling on the new platform.

The drama led xQc to take to his stream to voice his disappointment with Hasan's comments and defend his decision to switch platforms. He alleged that Hasan was defending Pokimane despite her statement being inaccurate. xQc went on to express his frustration with people discrediting his achievement.

'I’m disappointed'

The ongoing war between Twitch and Kick has been further fueled by the recent announcements of xQc's move to the latter platform. Comments from Pokimane and Hasan added fuel to the fire, creating more buzz on social media. Despite the negativity, xQc remained firm in his stance and defended his decision, asserting that his move was not solely about monetary gain. The drama continues to be a topic of discussion among Twitch and Kik streamers. He firmly stated that his move was not just about money and accused Hasan of being disingenuous.

According to Pokimane, referred to as the "Twitch Queen," Kick generates revenue for Twitch through its use of Amazon's Interactive Video Service. In response, Hasan asserted that xQc switched platforms for personal gain, potentially hosting gambling streams, which are prohibited on Twitch.

xQc was quick to respond to the criticism. “If it was only about money, nobody would care. I understand if it was only about money then I wouldn’t be talking about this. I [would have] just turned the stream off and I would ignore all this sh*t. There are goals that are passed that and people who discredit that are f*cking cringe.”

“Hasan is being disingenuous as f*ck. I’m disappointed. I’m gonna be honest with you, I’m disappointed. Sorry, Hasan, I’m disappointed. I get it. Protect queen Poki at all costs – means she gets to say whatever she wants and just claim dogsh*t and she’s given a free pass because she’s Poki. I get it, Hasan.”

'He needs to stop calling those frauds his friends'

A user wrote on Youtube, "He needs to stop calling those frauds his friends and come to the darkside," while another said, "Hasan is a type of person that would snitch on you because you stole a chocolate and didn't give to poki." Yet another user commented, "Pokimane and Hassan are just mad that everybody has moved on from them to go watch better streamers on a better platform."
