Warzone Pacific SMG Tier List May 2022

Our Warzone Pacific SMG tier list for May 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Season 3.

In Season 3, not only did we get the new UGR SMG, but we also saw Raven Software buff virtually all of the Vanguard SMGs except for the Owen Gun. As such, here is how the SMG weapon class stacks up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3 in May 2022.

S Tier

• Welgun
• Type 100
• Owen Gun
• Armaguerra 43
• Milano 821
• LAPA
• MP-40
• Sten

In the S Tier are eight SMGs that have established themselves as decently ahead of the rest of the pack. Ultimately, perhaps the only "broken" options at the moment would be the Welgun and Type 100, which are statistical monsters. The Milano 821, Armaguerra 43, LAPA, Type 100 and Owen Gun remain to be exceptional sniper support options as well. Meanwhile, the MP-40 and Sten have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

• MP5 (BOCW)
• PP19 Bizon
• PPSh-41 (BOCW)
• MAC-10
• Bullfrog
• M1912
• UGR
• Fennec

In A Tier are 10 SMGs that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. For now, we'll slot the all-new UGR in here as the only thing holding it back is its ammo capacity (either 30 or 36), which makes it really only viable for solos or duos.

B Tier

• CX-9
• AK-74u
• LC10
• MP5 (MW)
• AUG (MW)
• MP7
• Uzi
• TEC-9

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the new Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

• ISO
• P90
• Nail Gun
• KSP 45
• Striker 45

Whether it's as a close range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
