The STG-44 is no stranger to the Warzone meta, with the gun being the top option for players just two seasons ago. It did receive numerous nerfs, but it never fully left the spotlight.
WhosImmortal loves the STG-44, saying that “The STG did see some slight nerfs, it got a control nerf, but it also got an ADS buff for what it's worth. It’s still super, super easy to use in terms of control.” He went on to say “It can still absolutely beam players at long-range, medium range, doesn’t matter."

With so many attachments, the STG-44 has insane flexibility and customization with which players can experiment. Furthermore, the Vanguard weapon has easily controllable recoil and hits like a truck with high TTKs at any range, making it a must-use gun when dropping into Caldera or Fortune's Keep.
