Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Waluigi Pinball: Everything You Need to Know
As part of Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass, Waluigi Pinball will be added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the Turnip Cup, which will also include New York Minute, Mario Circuit 3 and Kalimari Desert.
In the 3-minute trailer for the new DLC wave, Waluigi Pinball can be seen revitalized for the Nintendo Switch, complete with its signature neon lights, pinball machine lanes and giant Waluigi sign.
Waluigi Pinball initially made its series debut as the third race course of the Flower Cup in Mario Kart DS (2005). Since then, it has been revamped and brought back into the fold in Mario Kart 7 (2011) and Mario Kart Tour (2019).
As pointed out in a YouTube video by Swiftjar, this new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version of Waligui Pinball does appear to simply elevate the version from Mario Kart Tour with more vibrant colors, shinier floors and slightly darker roads.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass: Wave 2 is set to release Thursday, Aug. 4. The Booster Course Pass costs $24.99, but comes at no additional cost for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. The Booster Course Pass aims to release 48 remastered courses for the game in six waves of eight tracks until the end of 2023.
