Spider-Man Remastered's PC release date has been announced.
After years of being a Playstation-exclusive title, Spider-Man is finally coming to PC. While initially only available as a part of the Spider Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition bundle on PS5, Spider-Man: Remastered recently became available as a standalone title. Now, the game will be available for PC purchase as well.
Spider-Man Remastered PC Release Date
Spider-Man Remastered is an updated version of the beloved Spider-Man for PS4, released originally in 2018. The developer's Insomniac Games announced that the game will be available August 12, 2022 on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Spider-Man Remastered is said to be arriving with all the downloadable content offered with the PS5 version of the game, alongside a significant graphical update. The game will feature everything players love about the original, so PC players will finally get to explore the streets of New York City, as they swing from building to building as the beloved webbed superhero.
Insomniac Games stated in their announcement blog post that "Marvelâs Spider-Man Remastered on PC will include the full main story and its continued narrative in Marvelâs Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC, which features three accompanying story chapters in Peter Parkerâs journey along with additional missions and challenges for players to discover."
Insomniac Games also announced in a later blog post that Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also getting a PC release this autumn. The Miles Morales port will likely also be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store, however, specific details on the game have yet to be announced.
