The current Raid bosses in Pokemon GO have officially transitioned from our March list, featuring a brand new Alolan island guardian — Tapu Bulu.

One-star Raid Bosses

There are five one-star Raid bosses currently available in Pokemon GO with three hailing from the Alola region. They are as follows:

  • (Shiny) Alolan Grimer
  • (Shiny) Rockruff
  • (Shiny) Torchic

Three-star Raid Bosses

There are four total three-star Raid bosses this month with only one native to the Alolan region. They are:

  • (Shiny) Alolan Exeggcutor

Five-star Raid Bosses

Following the conclusion of Lush Jungle featuring Tapu Lele, the new five-star Raid boss is Tapu Bulu. This Pokemon is particularly weak to poison-types, but also is vulnerable to ice, flying, steel, and fire-types.

The best counters for Tapu Bulu include:

  • Mega Beedrill (Poison Jab + Sludge Bomb)
  • Mega Charizard (Fire Spin + Blast Burn)
  • Toxicroak (Poison Jab + Sludge Bomb)
  • Victreebel (Acid + Sludge Bomb)

Mega Raid Bosses

The current Mega Raid boss this month is Mega Pidgeot. As a normal and flying-type, it is weakest to rock, electric, and ice-types.

The most effective counter choices for Mega Pidgeot are:

  • Mega Manectric (Thunder Fang + Wild Charge)
  • Mega Aerodactyl (Rock Throw + Rock Slide)
  • Mega Ampharos (Volt Switch + Zap Cannon)
