Pokémon GO's Spotlight Hour is an ongoing weekly event where one special Pokémon will be heavily show up across the wild making it easier for players to collect them
As part of Pokémon GO's Season of Light the latest event Evolving Stars will run from Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. This particular event highlights the debut of Cosmoem, the Protostar Pokémon along with all things cosmic.
Who is the Spotlight Hour Pokémon During the Evolving Stars Event?
The Spotlight Hour during the Evolving Stars event will occur from Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at 8:00 p.m.
During the last day of Evolving Stars, players can expect to see plenty of Haunters out in the wild. A fitting Spotlight Hour Pokémon to have for the Halloween season. Along with the chance to catch plenty of Ghost-Type Pokémon that day, players will be rewarded a Spotlight bonus of double the amount of Catch Stardust. That should help evolve or boast your favorite Pokémon's Combat-Power making it better prepared for those Raids.
Keep in mind that the Haunters that will be popping around the Spotlight Hour will not be Shiny Pokémon. Knowing this will help ease players worried about Shiny hunting and they can continue on to do whatever they please during the Evolving Stars event.
Niantic would also like to remind Pokémon Trainers that they should bring their Buddy Pokémon at the end of the Spotlight Hour to witness something special.
