The new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet revealed three Pokémon including, Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Krawf. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are coming to Nintendo Switch on Nov. 18 and Nintendo released a new gameplay trailer that debuted the new Pokémon. Here is everything we know so far.
Klawf Pokémon Violet and Scarlet: What We Know So Far
Klawf is a pure rock-type and has a new ability known as the Anger Shell which lowers its defense and special defense, but increases attack and special attack when HP is below half. Klawf can rotate his eyes to see everything around it, eliminating any blind spots. Klawf is able to latch upside down onto cliffs to ambush its prey from above. Its ability to hang upside down might seem like a big advantage, but don't get too excited because he can get dizzy from the blood gushing to its head, so it can't be upside down for too long.
Klawf can hold onto things and not let go of his prey while he also uses his other claw to break its guard and hit it where it does the most damage. Klawf can lose a claw during a battle and not worry because it will grow back after a while. In specific areas in the Paldea region, Klawf claws are a valuable cooking ingredient.
