Famed actor, rapper, and 16 Time WWE Champion John Cena will soon make his debut in Fortnite.
According to an announcement by Epic Games, The John Cena Skin will drop in the Item Shop this Thursday, July 28, at 8:00 p.m. ET as part of the John Cena Set. Additional cosmetic features such as the WWE Championship Title Back Bling, the Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe, and the U Can't C Me Emote, will also be included in the release.
The John Cena outfit drop comes as a part of Epic SummerSlam, a larger collaboration between Epic Games and the WWE. The collab. features the appearances of notable WWE talents across additional Epic Games titles Rocket League, and Fall Guys.
John Cena Joins Fortnite
The announcement of John Cena to join Fortnite also coincides with the wrestler's recent return to the squared circle. After a brief hiatus from professional wrestling, John Cena rejoined WWE's Raw as it took center stage in Laredo, TX last month.
Mr. Cena's arrival to Fortnite marks the first official partnership between the game and the WWE. Although many gamers speculated last year that the Foundation outfit was made in the likeness of another well-known WWE Super Star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
