Pokemon GO's Psychic Spectacular event is back, and set to kick off in just a few days time on Sept. 6. Plenty of Psychic-type Pokemon will be appearing more frequently than usual — including Slowpoke, Spoink, Drowzee, and more. Making its debut during the event is Shiny Elgyem, which lucky players may be able to nab. But attention is being drawn to the event's Mega Raid — Mega Alakazam.

Yes, not only is Mega Alakazam making its Pokemon GO debut during the Psychic Spectacular, but it will also have the chance to be Shiny.
In order to stand a chance of capturing one, Trainers will need to take on the Mega Raid, which will be no easy feat.
The Psychic Spectacular event runs from Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
