Ursaluna is a Pokémon that saw itself discovered during the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in 2022, with the Pokémon GO release being in November of the same year, on its Community Day.

Originally, Teddiursa and Ursuring were and two-member evolution family, and had been that way until Ursaluna was revealed. The first two Pokémon of this evolutionary line are Normal-type Pokémon and they stayed on the back-burner for several Pokémon generations.

This was until Pokémon Legends Arceus, where the Ursuring line got an evolution into the Normal- and Ground-type Ursaluna. This Pokémon is unfortunately not easily obtainable in either Pokémon Legends or Pokémon GO.

How to Get Ursaluna in Pokémon GO

Ursuring will evolve into Ursaluna once it is fed 100 candies during an in-game full moon. Full moons in Pokémon GO are counted as "mini-events" and are dictated by Niantic, meaning that they exist independently of real-life full moons.

The last full moon event in Pokémon GO happened during Teddiursa's Community Day in November, and it is unclear as to when the next mini-event will occur in the game.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the way to catch this Pokémon is much more convoluted. Once you catch a Teddiursa and evolve it into Ursuring or catch an Ursuring, you must find a specific item called the "Peat Block", and then use it on your Ursuring during an in-game full moon.

Be on the look out for when Pokémon GO says the next full moon mini-event will be, as Ursuring evolved during this time will know the move High-Horsepower upon evolution into an Ursaluna.
