The popular Overwatch Halloween event Halloween Terror is making its debut on Overwatch 2 from now until Nov. 8. Players can play Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride in the Arcade mode to complete challenges to unlock rewards. There are a handful of challenges in Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride, some are more annoying than others but luckily the Lantern Lit challenge is not one of them. Here is a quick guide on how to complete the Lantern Lit challenge.
How to Complete the Lantern Lit Challenge in Overwatch 2
In order to participate in Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride players will have to unlock Arcade mode. This should not take too long since it requires completing 15 matches in Quick Play. It is recommended to complete the challenges through story mode so players cannot fail. This should make completing all the challenges less stressful.
The Lantern Lit challenge requires players to crouch under the light of a lantern for six seconds while the Unstoppable Ghost is spawned.
After defeating the castle guards and burning down the gates, players can enter Junkenstein's castle. When players' current objective is to "locate the lord of castle," the Unstoppable Ghost will then spawn.
The lantern that players need to crouch under can be found to the left of the spawn point of the Unstoppable Ghost. From the top of the stairs, players can quickly head left towards the lantern.
If a player is downed under the lantern it will not count. Playing this in story mode difficulty will make the challenge exponentially less annoying. If a player is downed his teammate can revive them or when playing in story mode difficulty the player will eventually respawn. With enough patience, the Lantern Lit challenge should easily be completed.
Those that want to partake in Overwatch 2's Halloween Terror will have until Nov. 8 to play and complete Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride.
