Overwatch's popular Halloween event is making its debut in Overwatch 2 this week. The Halloween Terror mode Junkenstein's Revenge returns now known as Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride. The mode features a challenge called Witches Brew which has had some players stumped. Here is a quick guide on how to complete Overwatch 2's Witches Brew challenge.
How to Complete Overwatch 2 'Witches Brew' Challenge
In order to access the PvE mode players must first have unlocked the Arcade mode of Overwatch 2. Most players will have unlocked it already since it only takes completing 15 matches in Quick Play to unlock it. Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride will be accessed from the Arcade mode. It is recommended to complete the challenges through story mode which is the first option in the Arcade menu.
The Witches Brew challenge has caused trouble for players since the description reads like a riddle. For the Witches Brew challenge, it is stated to "Uncover the Fate of a Terror Past in a Hidden Corner of Adlersbrunn." This has led players to aimlessly comb Junkenstein's castle searching for this so-called hidden corner.
In order to finish the challenge players will progress up to the gates of the castle. After defeating the Summoner and the Gargoyle the castle gate will explode. Instead of entering the castle players should turn their attention left towards the pool of water.
Players will notice a hole along the wall and after surviving against Symmetra and Winston they can crawl through it to complete the challenge. This hidden crawl space is the hidden corner of Adlersbrunn and inside players can see hidden Easter eggs.
The reward for the Witches Brew challenge is a unique voice line for Sojourn. The challenge is fairly easy once you know where to look. Halloween Terror will run from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8.
