Has NoPixel banned RatedEpicz? xQc discusses GTA RP streamer's situation, says 'You just don't know what canceling means'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Twitch and popular streamer Felix 'xQc' recently discussed TatedEpicz, a controversial Grand Theft Auto 5 roleplayer, during his live stream on Tuesday.

RatedEpicz was a popular member of the NoPixel group and was associated with Chang Gang, an organized crime syndicate. However, the streamer was permanently banned from the server on April 4, 2023. According to the owner, Koil, the NoPixel staff decided to ban RatedEpicz.

'You guys just don't know what canceling means!'

While watching Twitch veteran Jaryd "Summit1g" play Fortnite, xQc noted that several of his followers claimed RatedEpicz had been "canceled." This spurred the streamer to argue with his viewers, claiming that the roleplaying personality is now more popular than ever.

xQc expressed his thoughts on the matter. He said in the Twitch video, "I'm not even glazing! You guys just don't know what canceling means!" To put things in perspective, "glazing" is a TikTok phrase and online slang for repeatedly praising and "sucking up to someone."

The discussion began when a French Canadian streamer's attention was brought to a message on Twitch about notable GTA roleplayers. He read it out to the crowd and stated, "'Ramee and Rated are canceled.' What?! What do you mean he's canceled? Is he?"

xQc claimed that no streamer has been canceled, including RatedEpicz. He continued by saying that RatedEpicz had recently live streamed on his channel, "I don't think anybody is canceled. Rated is not canceled. He went live the other day! Rated can literally go live when he wants to. How is that canceled? It's not what canceled means."

xQc went on explaining reasons for not believing that RateEpicz was canceled, "Yeah, he literally went live and had, like, 18k viewers! I was watching. He's not canceled. How is that being canceled? Literally, it was his biggest stream since he created his channel. That's, like, the opposite of being canceled, as far as I am concerned!"

'His take is correct'

Many Redditors have reacted to xQc's perspective. While some people thought the streamer battling with his audience was "normal," others thought it was inappropriate. A user wrote, "His take is correct, a person is only canceled, when he/she has no viewers and no way to have prominence if rated wanted to rn he could stream to 1k-2k community I mean just look at adept she was never big but even after the xqc drama she pulls in 400-700 viewers."

Another user added, "You are only cancelled when the platform bans you. Xqc saying he has a lot of viewers on his return stream is not a good example though. Callmecarlson/Fedmyster both had alot of viewers on there return. Time will tell if he ends up like them."
