Players can complete the all-new Fortnite Birthday Quests to earn free rewards in honor of Fortnite's 6th birthday.
Epic Games dropped a minor update to Fortnite this morning to celebrate the Battle Royale's release nearly six years ago. Not only are POIs decorated for the occasion, but new Reality Augments and Birthday Quests are live, adding exclusive in-game features to the limited-time event.
Here's a breakdown of all the Fortnite Birthday Quests and rewards.
Fortnite Birthday Quests: All Quests

- Wish the bus driver a happy birthday.
- Dance with characters in different matches.
- Collect Birthday Presents!
- Land during Fortnite's 6th Birthday.
- Consume Birthday Cake.
- Use Balloons
Fortnite Birthday Quests: How to Complete
Players can complete all the Fortnite Birthday Quests in just four games. Simply landing during Fortnite's 6th Birthday in each match will complete one of the quests. Make sure to thank the bus driver before you drop.
The rest of the Birthday Quests are easy to complete as long as you find some special birthday supplies. A large pink Birthday Cake is located at every major POI, surrounded by balloons. Eat five slices of cake to both restore health and complete the next Birthday Quest.
As you loot the POI, keep an eye out for Birthday Presents! and Balloons. Both items can be found from the ground and Chests. A new Jump Balloon Reality Augment also offers a quick way to get Balloons.
The last Birthday Quest requires you to dance with Characters. Make sure you find friendly NPCs throughout the map, and not Highcard Bosses guarding Vaults or Radio Towers. Emote next to the Characters in two different matches to finish all the Birthday Quests.
Fortnite Birthday Quests: All Rewards
Completing the Fortnite Birthday Quests grants players the following free rewards:
- Birthday Basher Pickaxe: Complete 1 Birthday Quest
- Birthday Dash Spray: Complete 3 Birthday Quests
- Slice O' Six Back Bling: Complete 5 Birthday Quests
Each quest also offers 20,000 XP. Complete all six Fortnite Birthday Quests to earn 120,000 XP.
