FIFA 22 Summer Swaps has been leaked by reputable community member FutSheriff in what's set to be the biggest Swaps event in FIFA Ultimate Team history.
Swaps events, first popularized by Icon Swaps in FIFA 20, are promotions centered around tokens and subsequent rewards. Players earn tokens by completing objectives and SBCs and then submit them into designated SBCs for special rewards. EA Sports added new Swaps events this year for promotions this year like Future Stars and Team of the Season.
The FIFA 22 Ultimate Team cycle is starting to wind down, but there's still exciting summer content to come. One promotion, apparently called Summer Swaps, is set to be the biggest Swaps event in FUT history.
FIFA 22 Summer Swaps Leaked
According to FutSheriff, Summer Swaps will feature 50 Swaps tokens and run until July 25. FutSheriff did not designate a start date for the event, but fans should expect it to start after Shapeshifters concludes. The second Shapeshifters squad drops June 24, meaning those items would leave packs on July 1 setting up a perfect start date for Summer Swaps.
It's unknown if Summer Swaps will be tied into another big summer event like FUTTIES, but with 50 total tokens to earn it will be a long promotion regardless. Perhaps Summer Heat makes a return in FIFA 22 just like Shapeshifters did.
