Pokémon debuts thanks to the continuing festivities of the Season of Light. Both Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon, and Lunala, the Moone Pokémon are available for the first time in Pokémon GO.
While players will be eager to catch them and add them to their collection, there are some important conditions that need to be met in order to obtain each of the Pokémon.
How to Evolve Cosmoem into Solgaleo in Pokémon GO
In order to add Solgaleo to your team in Pokémon GO, players will need to use 100 Cosmog Candy on Cosmoem during the daytime hours.
Players familiar with past mainline Pokémon entries will be familiar with evolutions which require a certain time of day to activate.
How to Evolve Cosmoem into Lunala in Pokémon GO
Similarly to Solgaleo, to evolve Cosmoem into Lunala in Pokémon GO players will need to use 100 Cosmog Candy during the night-time hours.
Given how much Candy is required for each Pokémon, players will need to put in a bit of work before the event ends in order to grab both Pokémon.
