Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost: Everything You Need to Know

Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost is one of the most popular events in the game. From its release date to a new Event Card, here's everything you need to know about Festival of the Lost.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Guide

The Festival of the Lost event will start on Oct.18 and will last for three weeks until it ends on Nov. 8. Players can experience the Tower in Halloween-themed decorations and earn unique event rewards.

The Festival of the Lost is coming back as a section of the Season of Plunder. This event is available to everyone and does not require any expansions or seasonal passes.

Players can also expect an Event Card, which might include emotes and Ghost Shells. Last year's event had Haunted Lost Sectors, which let players fight horror-themed foes.

Destiny 2 players can look forward to finishing goals in the event and receiving Triumphs, which will help gain the Reveler title.

Bungie also confirmed that masks will be coming back during the event.

The Festival of the Lost event will also feature new armor, which includes spooky-themed appearances. The new armor had been decided by a vote from players, and the armor pack is labeled as the Team Mech set. The ornaments for the new armor sets can be obtained through Silver or Bright Dust.

Players can also expect a new sniper rifle at the event. While the name of the rifle hasn't been confirmed, players can look forward to seeing it as an Arc weapon with a unique Origin Trait called Search Party.
