The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III countdown is officially on as fans await the launch of the next Call of Duty title.
After a disappointing year of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Sledgehammer Games is delivering Modern Warfare III in just a few months. The game is set to include fan-favorite modes, like Zombies, and support the carry-over of almost all Modern Warfare II weapons, Operators, and Bundles.
The Call of Duty community is more than ready to welcome the next title, so much so that we have the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III countdown leading up to the big release.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Countdown
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III countdown is ticking down to the release of the next Call of Duty title on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. Modern Warfare III is set to feature all 16 classic maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) along with a Campaign full of Open Combat Missions.
At the time of writing, fans still have to wait about two and a half months to get their hands on Modern Warfare III. There are exactly 78 days until Modern Warfare III drops. Fans who pre-ordered the game will be able to pre-load the title on their device closer to release day so they can hop right into the new world developed by Sledgehammer Games.
When is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta?
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta kicks off in October for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation users. Fans will get their first look at the new title, as well as all the promised features returning to the game, including a classic mini map with red dots, slide cancelling, and more.

- Oct. 6-7: Open to all PlayStation users who pre-order Modern Warfare III
- Oct. 8-10: Open to all PlayStation users
Weekend Two: All Platforms
- Oct. 12-13: PC and Xbox users who pre-order Modern Warfare III, along with all PlayStation users
- Oct. 14-16: Open to all players on all platforms
