Treyarch may be leading the design of a new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 map to be released alongside a new game in 2024 according to known Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope.
Warzone 2.0 was announced in September during a Call of Duty: Next event and is set to feature a slew of new and reworked gameplay mechanics. Features such as enemy A.I. strongholds, upgraded Buy Stations, and storm circles will be introduced in Warzone's successor as it promises to evolve the franchise into an even more thrilling experience.
Call of Duty enthusiast TheGhostOfHope has recently revealed information that suggests developer Treyarch will be leading map design for a new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 map to be released alongside a mainline title in 2024. As most fans know, Treyarch is responsible for the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops series. Their most recently released entry was Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
This news should be taken lightly as there has been no official confirmation by either Activision or Treyarch as of this moment. That being said TheGhostOfHope does have a history of revealing information regarding the Call of Duty franchise and has garnered a decent following on his Twitter page as a result.
Currently, fans can look forward to the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 on Nov. 16 on most platforms.
