Druddigon is a fan favorite Generation V Pokémon. Whether it was a part of your team taking down the Champion Iris in Black and White 2, or her Druddigon was giving you headaches, this Pokémon definitely left a mark. Fans of the Pokémon since then have wanted to make it a priority to catch, and given its late introduction into Pokémon GO, some fans had to wait over five years, from the summer of 2016 all the way through its introduction in the game in December 2021 to catch Druddigon.
Since then though, there have been a couple of changes to the best way to catch Druddigon. Here are the updates on the best ways to catch Druddigon in Pokémon GO.
Best Way to Catch Druddigon in Pokémon Go
Although Druddigon was initially able to be found in the wild, like many other non-legendary Pokémon, it has recently been made a 3-Star Raid exclusive Pokémon. This means that Druddigon can no longer be found in the wild, where you would tap its image on your screen to begin an encounter, but must be defeated via raid to have a chance to make it your own.
Some of the best Pokémon to do that with are other Dragon-types, Ice-type, and Fairy-type Pokémon. If you have access to Legendaries or Pseudolegendaries like Dialga, Palkia, Dragonite, or Garchomp, they will be very useful.
Easier to obtain Pokémon like Gardevoir and Glaceon will also take you a long way during the raid too. Make sure once you take it down to use some berries to make Druddigon easier to catch though!
