Back 4 Blood's upcoming second expansion, Children of the Worm, has been given an imminent release date. Here's what you need to know.
For players who have already cleaned through Back 4 Blood Expansion 1: Tunnels of Terror, the arrival of the game's next expansion will be hot on their radar. Expansion 2: Children of the Worm is the next available DLC for the Left 4 Dead-inspired shooter, offering a brand-new story campaign where players face-off against a new adversary known as The Cultists. Helping to fight this new threat is Cleaner “Prophet” Dan — a gun-sporting, self-proclaimed preacher with some handy reviving abilities to keep teammates in the fight.
The new DLC also includes eight exclusive character skins and 12 exclusive weapon skins, along with new weapons, accessories, and cards. So, when is this next expansion set to release?
When Does Back 4 Blood Expansion 2: Children of the Worm Release?
Back 4 Blood Expansion 2: Children of the Worm is set to release later today, on Aug. 30.
The new DLC will be available as part of the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, Back 4 Blood: Deluxe Edition, Back 4 Blood: Ultimate Edition, or as a standalone purchase.
