Ark II release date information was unveiled at the Xbox and Bethesda Summer Games Showcase 2022. During the showcase, a new trailer for Ark II was unveiled, where they confirmed a 2023 release year.
The trailer showed off stunning visuals of familiar dinosaurs and the two main characters before ending with the announcement that the game will be released sometime in 2023. No further information on the release date was given during the conference.

The showcase featured plenty of other upcoming releases by Xbox and Bethesda, including Bethesda's new RPG Starfield, as well as a new trailer for Overwatch 2. Ark 2 was one of 35 games announced to be launching in the next 12 months by Xbox.
The new title from Wildcard Studios is a sequel to the hit 2017 title Ark: Survival Evolved, which sold over five million copies while it was still in Early Access. Ark 2 will feature a brand new story mode voiced by Vin Diesel and Auli'i Cravalho. The game will launch in 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
