Apex Legends Season 14 is almost upon and datamining has begun! Players can take a first glimpse at all the weapon changes coming to Season 14. This includes Supply Drops, gold items, and ammo distribution.
Here is what you can expect on Aug. 9.
Apex Legends Season 14 Ammo Distribution
In an attempt to balance the ammo distribution late game and around the map, Respawn is taking two approaches. First, they are better balancing the loot around the map, secondly, they're changing Wingman to Sniper ammo and Spitfire to Light ammo. This should help with late-game scenarios having more than just Heavy ammo. And this should mean both weapons use the appropriate attachments,
Apex Legends Season 14 Supply Drop Weapons
As is now custom, Respawn took two weapons away from floor loot and placed them into the supply drops. These two weapons become basically buffed and maxed out with attachments if you find them.
- Bocek Bow
- Rampage LMG
Apex Legends Season 14 Gold Equipment Changes
The Gold Knockdown no longer has the self-revive feature, instead it has the Golden Angel feature from the Gold Backpack. The Gold Backpack now has a new feature called Deep Pockets, which allows to stack extra meds: three med kits and batteries, and two Phoenix kits.
This isn't much of a surprise as the community has been clamoring for a change to the Gold Knockdown shield.
Apex Legends Season 14 Weapon Buffs
The number one change is to the Eva-8. There may be more weapons listed at launch, but for now, the Eva is receiving a fire rate increase, bolts to increase it even further, new stocks, and the Double Tap hop-up is returning. With the return of the Skullpiercer hop-up you will also see a buff to the Wingman, Longbow, and the 30-30 Repeater which are all compatible with the hop-up. This is an easy buff to all three with the increased headshot damage.
