Apex Legends developers have claimed they have no plans to buff Loba's tactical ability despite vocal desire from the Apex community.
Loba is a character known for her exceptional ability to loot an area for her and her team and while this is a reason many pick this character, a vast majority of players who main Loba have voiced their desires to see Loba's tactical ability gain a buff, especially to the cooldown.
While there are many who believe a buff would help Loba's character, not everybody thinks so. John Larson, the balance designer for Apex Legends, took to Twitter to respond to criticisms of Respawn for not giving Loba the requested buff.
Larson's comment shows Respawn's approach to balancing Loba's ability and that does not include making the cooldown of the ability shorter as requested by many Loba players. While Larson mentioned that he does not believe the cooldown is the problem in Loba's kit, he did acknowledge the existence of a problem.
While this is not the answer many Loba players were hoping for, it at least assures players that Respawn Entertainment is listening and has plans to fix the issue in a different way, though what that way is has yet to be revealed.
