We've compiled information regarding all five brand new Pokemon from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer — including the legendaries.

All New Pokemon Revealed in the Scarlet and Violet Trailer

1. Koraidon

Koraidon is the exclusive legendary of Pokemon Scarlet. Not much is known about it, but its connection to prehistoric aesthetics is clear. This connection is most prominent in its nautilus chest-shell, feathered accents, and webbed paws.

2. Miraidon

Miraidon is the exclusive legendary of Pokemon Violet. There isn't much information regarding Miraidon, either, but it also has a clear aesthetic. Its design leans into futuristic, technological advances. Its smooth, metallic head, glowing, electric channels, and robotic joints are a testament to this.

3. Lechonk

Lechonk is also known as the "Hog" Pokemon. Its description explains that "the Pokémon’s body is mostly muscle built by constantly walking around in search of food...Lechonk uses its sense of smell to find and eat only the most fragrant wild grasses and the richest Berries. As a result of its dining habits, it has come to radiate an aroma resembling herbs that bug Pokémon dislike."

4. Smoliv

Smoliv, the small "Olive" Pokemon, naturally produces and stores oil in the fruit on its head. According to its description, "the oil that comes out of its head has a very strong bitter taste, and it is not suitable for consumption. When startled or attacked, Smoliv will shoot this oil out, slowing its opponent down. It will then seize that moment to run away."

5. Pawmi

Pawmi is another electric mouse Pokemon that has electricity organs in both its cheeks and paws. It generates electricity by rubbing its cheeks with its paws before shocking opponents by touching them. Its description reads, "Not only is the fur that covers its body good insulation against the cold, but it also serves the purpose of storing electricity. When it feels uneasy, this cautious Pokémon will begin rubbing its cheeks, preparing itself to discharge an electric shock."

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet releases for the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 18, 2022.
